Theofilos Zervos of Baldwin has died after apparently losing control of a chainsaw while cutting wood in his backyard. He was found by his girlfriend around 5 p.m. yesterday, suffering from a slash in his neck. Police responded after she called 911, but he was pronounced dead on the scene. For anyone thinking of using a chainsaw to clear some brush from their backyard, the DOH warns, "While the chainsaw is one of the most efficient and productive portable power tools, it is also the most DANGEROUS!"
